Carriage Bolts
Carriage bolts have a dome shaped head
and a square neck, they are mostly used in wood construction like
docks, and outdoor decks, etc... Carriage bolts are threaded for the
first 6 inches, all carriage bolts 6 inches and under are fully
threaded. Our carriage bolts are available in both Zinc and Galvanized
coatings.
Select a Material & Finish
 Low carbon steel, best for general use applications (comparable to Grade 2). Zinc Plating is the most common finish and provides moderate protection against corrosion.

Hot dipped galvanized carriage bolts are very corrosion resistant and are commonly used in outdoor and marine environments. Galvanized bolts can only be used with galvanized nuts due to the thickness of the coating.
