Hex Head Lag Screws are available in zinc plating for moderate corrosion resistance, and in hot dipped galvanized, which provides much more corrosion resistance for use in marine and outdoor applications. Lag Screws are also referred to as Lag Bolts due to their large size and hexagonal head. Lag Bolts are most commonly used in wood construction.
