Washers

The most common type of washer. Available in zinc plating or hot dipped galvanized.

Has a tighter fit with a smaller outside diameter than USS.

Larger outside diameter.

Puts tension on the nut to prevent loosening. Available in zinc plating or hot dipped galvanized.

Larger and thicker than standard flat washers. Commonly used in wood construction and marine applications. (comparable to dock washers)

Square plate washers have a larger surface area than round washers. They develop more friction when tightening against wood. Larger and thicker than standard washers. (comparable to dock washers)
