 A325 Structural Bolts
- Structural Bolts have an over sized hex head and are designed for steel to steel structural connections. A325 Structural Bolts are comparable in strength to Grade 5 bolts.
- Structural Bolts have shorter thread lengths than other bolts. This allows joints to be bolted without threads in the joint. Measurements should be exact to give enough room to fit a nut & washer, and tighten fully.
- Structural Bolts are available in Hot Dipped Galvanized or Plain Finish, and are generally only available in larger diameters and shorter lengths.
- The true length of many bolts can commonly be up to 3/16" short of the stated length.
