 A325 Structural Bolts
- Structural Bolts have an over sized hex head and are designed for steel to steel structural connections. A325 Structural Bolts are comparable in strength to Grade 5 bolts.
- Structural Bolts have shorter thread lengths than standard bolts. This allows a joint to be bolted without having threads in the joint. Length measurements should be as exact as possible to provide enough room to fit a nut and washer, and to tighten fully.
- Structural Bolts are available in Hot Dipped Galvanized and Plain Finish, and are typically only available in larger diameters and shorter lengths.
- Many sizes of USA made Structural Bolts are available with matching Nuts and Washers.
- The true length of many bolts can commonly be up to 3/16" short of the stated length.
