Carriage Bolts
Carriage bolts have a dome shaped head and square neck, and are generally used in wood construction such as docks or outdoor decks. They can also be used in metal applications.
Our inventory of carriage bolts include a variety of lengths, diameters, and coatings including Zinc or Galvanized coatings, as well as 18-8 or 316 Stainless Steel.
Most carriage bolts under 6 inches are fully threaded, lengths over 6" always have 6 inches of thread. This excludes Stainless Steel.
Select a Material & Finish
Low carbon steel, best for general use applications (comparable to Grade 2). Galvanized bolts are very corrosion resistant and are commonly used outdoors. Galvanized bolts must be used with galvanized nuts due to the thickness of the coating.
